To be a democratic country, India needed to have a Constitution. Many obstacles were faced in the success of democracy in India:

• India is a vast country with huge diversity. It wasn't an easy task to make a common Constitution for different kind people living in the country.
• India was borned by division on the basis of religion due to which people were not comfortable with people not belonging to their own religion.
• The British left it to rulers weather they wanted to join India or Pakistan or stay independent. So, the Constituent Assembly had to confess the rulers.
