On the 2nd June two of the important event took place in the international arena are as follows,
1. Puerto Williams a town in the Navarino Island in the Beagels channel in Chile has been upgraded to the category of city.
2. On same day world parent’s day and milk was observed .The theme of the world parent’s day was ‘honor your parents’ and the theme of world milk day was 'drink milk today & everyday’.
The world milk day was established by Food and Agriculture Organization of United Nations to remarks importance of milk as world food.
