1.during a thunderstorm contact with telephone cords, electrical wires and metal pipes should be avoided.
2.Bathing should be avoided during thunderstorms to avoid contact with running water.
3.Electrical appliance like computers,TV should be unplugged.Electrical light can be remained on it will not cause any harm.
4.Don't carry umbrellas during a thunderstorm.
5.If so in forest take shelter under short trees.
6.If there is no shelter and u are in open field don't stand near trees.
