Answer:

Area of an equilateral triangle

 \frac{ \sqrt{3} }{4}  \times (side) ^{2}

Area of an Isosceles triangle

 \frac{b}{4}  \sqrt{ {4a}^{2}  -  {b}^{2} }

Here a = equal side

b = base

Area of an scalene triangle

 \sqrt{s(s - a)(s - b)(s - c)}

Here s = semi perimeter

s =  \frac{a + b + c}{2}

Question-

Write area formula of an equilateral triangle, isosceles triangle and scalene triangle.

Answer-

Equilateral Triangle- (√3/4)a2

Isosceles triangle- ½ × b × h or ½[√(a2 − b2 ⁄4) × b] or ½ × b × c × sin(α)

Scalene triangle- (1/2) × b × h or √s(s−a)(s−b)(s−c) s ( s − a ) ( s − b ) ( s − c ) where a, b, c are the sides and s is the semi-perimeter, s = (a+b+c)/2

Explanation-

a, b, & c are sides.

b is base.

h is hight.
