Answer:NOTHING & stop believing in these self limiting beliefs that india is being prevented from being a superpower. & also plz dont go around believing what you r feed by propagandists that indian have low work ethic , they r not creative , they have unusual level of corruption etc. These r all nonsense without any substantial proof.
If any country becomes successful people start finding it qualities & even create some lile how hard working chinese people r n how good work ethic they have. All these things will be said about india once we all become successful.
The only mistake we did was adopting socialism until 1991 with no export promotion & only import substitution & discouragement of private enterprise. But china also had the same upto 1978 & after that
China got economic liberalization in 1978 india got in 1991. I,e 13yrs later.
China was $3.4trillion economy in 2007 we are $3.3trillion in 2020 i,e 13yrs later.
We started 13yrs late & r in same position they were 13yrs before.
Nominal gdp growth of india (not real) was 10% for last 5yrs. So we'll be $5trillion by 2024 , 4th largest gdp in 4yrs and 3rd largest in 5-6 yrs.
We achieved all this without a dictatorship n with a healthy democracy & free speech.
There is nothing wrong with india , with indians or our economic policies. So plz stop believing in this rubbish & having these detremental self limiting beliefs.
A little bit of optimization can be done like demand growth & export promotion for low skilled workforce. But no drastic economic change is required. We r doing quite well.
India is positioned to be a global power n it is going to happen. No one has or can stop it.
Hope people reading this also become optimistic about their country which despite so many issues in past is now going full stream ahead to be a superpower
