Plastic bags are hazardous for our health. When we dispose plastic bags they are thrown into the sea and it takes 500 years for plastic to dissolve in water. This affects marine life and us as well.
Hats off to the Maharashtra government for banning this deadly substance and providing alternatives such as cloth bags for us... they are truly saving the world.
