First of all the circumstances leading to the outbreak of revolutionary protest in France are as below :
★ Rumours spread that King would soon order to open fire upon the citizens .

★ most people were protesting against the high prices of bread .

★ in 1774 Louis XVI become the emperor of France he found an Empty treasury so he started increasing taxes.

★ French society in the 18th century was divided into three estates and only member of third estate paid taxes .

★ wages did not keep pace with the rise in prices .

• 15 may 1789 Louis XVI call together and assembly of the estates general to pass proposals for new takes .

• the first and second state sent 300 representatives each and 600 members of third estate .

• Peasants , artisans and women were denied to entry the assembly .

• The representatives of third estate viewed themselves as spokesman for the whole French Nation .

• In June , they assembled in half of an indoor tennis court in the ground of Varsailles. They declared themselves a National Assembly .

• They were led by Mirabeau and Abbi Sieyis .

• While the crowd of angry, women stromed into a shop of bakery , On 14 th July , the agitated crowd stromed and destroyed the Bastille .
