The local municipal corporation is a body that is entrusted with helping the residents resolve any issues that they face. However, this is not the case with most such corporations. Many children have been mauled to death by these dogs, yet the corporation is unable to do anything to solve the problem. While the presence of strays is unwanted, sanitary workers, whose presence is crucial for the cleanliness of the city, are missing from work. The workers do not report to the localities assigned to them simply because the corporation does not supervise them. The officials sing a different tune during elections and then the scenario changes post elections. The system seems to believe in all promises and no action. It is time for the common man to wake up and take charge of the situation.
a) A truck crashes into the living room
Even home feels unsafe at times. On the 9th of May 2019, a huge truck crashed into a well-built living room. There was no loss of lives as it was the sleep time of the family members in the house and they were in their bedrooms. The driver of the truck was injured but the immediate response of the city paramedics brought him out of danger.
From the enquiries made from the public, the truck lost control all of a sudden due to its heavy load and non-permissible speed while the driver of the truck refuses that he crossed his speed limit. The family that resides in the house filed a complaint against the issue and the police are conducting the necessary investigation to solve the problem.
b) Local municipal corporation ... Action not promises
The local municipal corporation once again proves its downtrodden legibility. On the 5th of this month, there was a huge protest in the streets of Cancas. The protesters stated to the media that local municipal corporation would only say sweet words of development to grab the votes of the people and that they don’t tend to keep their promises.
Drinking water is such a huge disastrous problem to the community of Silk Lake. The residents of Silk Lake protested that the water problem has by no means decreased rather, it has been drastically increasing day by day.
The authorities expressed that they allotted the permission for setting up the required equipment, but seems like something went wrong between the ends. Anyhow, after a full day’s protest, the authorities promised again that they would take the immediate necessary actions.
c) Local football players wins big
The San Ramon team again proves its power. The team is rated as one of the best football teams in the country. In the final match at San Retro stadium on 3rd of May 2019, the team blows out with flying colors of victory. Sandro Rogers grabbed the player of the match award with 8 goals. Ringo Flamingo grabs the second position with 5 goals, Fernando 2 and Byron 1.
However, the team made the local residents joyous with their extraordinary performance. The captain of the team Ringo Flamingo stated that they are yearning to raise young players form the local towns and have been working very hard to maintain the rank of the team.
