Rabindranath Tagore
Rabindranath Tagore was a Bengali poet, writer, composer, philosopher and painter. He reshaped Bengali literature and music, as well as Indian art with Contextual Modernism in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Rabindranath Tagore was born on 7 May, 1861 at Kolkata. He was highly influential in introducing Indian culture to the West and vice versa, and he is generally regarded as the outstanding creative artist of early 20th-century India. In 1913, he became the first non-European to receive the Nobel Prize for Literature.
He has written many poems such as Gitanjali, Birpurush, Stream of Life, The Child etc. Unfortunately, he has died on 7 August, 1941 at Kolkata. But Today also Rabindranath Tagore is very famous for his poems.
