- It is also called as straight ovule.

Anatropous ovule
- Body of ovule bends back along side the side of funiculus (180°).
- Because of this curvature, the micropyle lies closer to funiculus.
- Also called as Inverted ovule.
- Example :- Sunflower
Campylotropous ovule
- Ovule is placed right angles of the funiculus.
- Body bends and micropyle comes closer to funiculus.
- Embryo sac of the ovule is slightly curved.
- Example :- Leguminosae
