Answer:

(a) Stomach-  It is a muscular sac like organ in which the chewed food from mouth arrives through esophagus, it stores the food and pours hydrochloric acid and other enzymes to break fats and proteins and to kill microbial cells that can harm us. The mucus present in the walls of the stomach prevents the erosion of the inner lining of stomach.

(b) Small Intestine-  From the stomach the food transfers to small intestine by passing through the sphincter of stomach. Complete digestion takes place in the small intestine. The bile from the liver makes the acidic medium into alkaline. The food moves through the small intestine by peristalsis, the food is broken into very tiny particles and are absorbed the hair like structures of the small intestine, the hair like projections of the small intestine are connected to capillaries where the food gets mixed in the blood stream and transported to various cell's of the body for energy production. An average persons small intestine is about 7 metres or 22 feet long.

(c) Large intestine- After the small intestine the waste food is then carried to the large intestine. Here, most of the salts and water are absorbed from the waste food and then the final waste is transported to the Anus for excretion. An average persons  large intestine is about 1.5 metres or 5 feet long.

Hope it helps you !!!!!!!!
