Ethanol can be converted to ethanoic acid by slow and controlled oxidation at a suitable temperature in presence of potassium dichromate(K2Cr2O7) . ... First of all it is ethanol(ethyl alcohol) not ethanol acid. The oxidation of ethylalcohol with K2Cr2O7/ conc H2SO4 give acetaldehyde( ethanoic acid).
