Uniform Acceleration :

  • If an object travels in a straight line and it's velocity increases or decreases by equal amounts in equal intervals of time , then the acceleration of the object is said to be uniform.
  • Example : An object in free fall in a uniform gravitational field.

Non-Uniform Acceleration :

  • If an object's velocity changes at a non-uniform rate ,then the acceleration of the object is said to be non-uniform.
  • Example : A speeding car accelerating at a non- uniform rate.

Answer:

It means that the acceleration is constant, and neither increasing nor decreasing. ... Uniform acceleration is change of equal velocity in equal intervals of time. Non Uniform acceleration is change of non-equal velocity in equal intervals of time.
