GAMETES- is a haploid cell that fuses with another haploid cell during fertilization in organisms that sexually reproduce.

ZYGOTE-is a eukaryotic cell formed by a fertilization event between two gametes.

gametes is the sex cell...or germ cell

male gamete is called sperm ...

female gamete is called ova...

on the other hand

zygote is formed when male gamete fuse with female gamete..or when male gamete fertilizes the female gamete

or when sperm fuses with ova...
