Scalar-
(1)It is a physical quantity which includes only magnitude.(magnitude is the numerical value
of the physical quantity)

(2)It doesn't have direction.

(3)Example-speed,distance, mass etc.

Vector-
(1)It is a physical quantity which contains magnitude as well as direction.

(2)It is always accompanied with a direction.

(3)Example-Velocity,displacement, acceleration etc.
