write down about location structure and function of parenchyma

surya000: A generalized plant cell type, parenchyma cells are alive at maturity. They function in storage, photosynthesis, and as the bulk of ground and vascular tissues. Palisade parenchyma cells are elogated cells located in many leaves just below the epidermal tissue.

Hey mate!
Here is your answer...

Paranchyma cells are round or oval with some thin and flexible cell wall. They are living cells found in root, stem, leaves, flowers, fruits, and seeds.
It's main function of these cells is storage and some Paranchyma cells have chlorophyll which is helped in photosynthesis, the cells containing chlorophyll is called chlorenchyma cells

Hope it helped :)

Answer:

Parenchyma :

The structure of a parenchyma cell can be described in the following way :

  • They are cells which form the most simple tissue of plants.
  • They are spherical, round and irregular in shape.
  • The cell wall is thin.
  • The cells have intercellular spaces.
  • The cells have intercellular, protoplast, with nucleus and vacuoles.
  • The cells are living.

The location of a parenchyma cell can be described in the following way :

  • They can be found in roots, stems, leaves, storage regions, etc.
  • They form bulk of the plant.

The functions of parenchyma cell can be described in the following way :

  • The main function is to store food.
  • They also store water in leaves.
  • They developed chlorophyll and is known as chlorenchyma which helps in photosynthesis.
  • They help in cell division.
