1 Protiens - the nutrients required for growth in our body and for relating of worn out tissues are portions. they are also called body building foods.
2 carbohydrates - the nutrient that provide us energy to do work is carbohydrate.the are also called energy giving foods.
3 fats - it is the nutrient which provides us energy and stores it . it also regulates our body temperature.
4 vitamins & minerals - the are nutrients which protect us from disease and are also called protective food.
5 fibre - it is the part of food that we cannot digest and adds bulk to our stomach and helps in cleaning of stomach.
6 water - our body is made up of 70%of water and it is important for us.
