Some prejudices that people have about physical work such as cleaning toilets.

Explanation:

Manual and other physical works such as cleaning toilets, drainage, garbage, etc have always been perceived as the lowest form of profession by many people. The reason behind perceiving such job and profession as low cannot be actually determined but perhaps the reason could be because of it's nature of work.

Most people think that these works are for poor and lower stratum of the society and consequently looks down on people who perform such works. People who perform these jobs are also disrespected and treated differently by many people.

However, many people fail to realize that these people contribute a lot to the society. Without them, the society will not run efficiently. They play a vital role in the division of labour without which the society would be in chaos. Therefore, we should stop perceiving them differently.

We can always encourage and thank them for their endless effort as most of their work are hazardous and health risky. We should also aware as many people as possible that there is nothing wrong in doing such jobs. The foremost thing is to make people understand the importance of their work because people often think that it is such a low job.

Once people get to understand their importance and their role in the division of labour, the stigma and prejudice construed against them will eventually reduce.
