Adverbs often end in -ly, but some (such as fast) look exactly the same as their adjective counte-rparts.

And’, ‘but’ and ‘or’ are conjunctions
Verbs:-
A verb, from the Latin verbum mea-ning word, is a word that in synt-ax conveys an action, an occurrence, or a state of being. In the usual description of English, the basic form, with or without the particle to, is the infin-itive. In many lang-uages, verbs are infle-cted to enco-de tense, aspect, mood, and voice.
An adverb is a word or an expression that modifies a verb, adjective, another adverb, determiner, clause, preposition, or sentence
Conjunction is a word that joins words, phrases, clauses or sentence. e.g. but, and, yet, or, because, nor, although, since, unless, while, where etc.
Verbs have traditionally been defined as words that show action or state of being. Verbs can also sometimes be recognized by their position in a sentence.
