French society was divided into three classes.
first groups consisted of clergy and second estates comprised the nobility. these groups were exempt from payment of taxes.
the third groups consisted of lower and middle class. these groups have no political and social status but having burden of taxes. they included big buisenessman , merchant, peasants etc.
