Answer:the chapter the triumph of surgery bu herriot is a beautiful chapter illustrating how pampering in the name of love can cause damage on a very large scale also it is very is easy to understand the message of the writer that gives a clean chit to not equate love and pampering. the chapter illustrates that the dog had appeared as a blotten sausage with four legs one on each side when he was walking down the street. also the narrator treated him by not surgically but by giving him less amount of food and not provide him with all the luxurious he had seen after the call he had received from mrs pumphrey who used to take care of the dog as her own child when the little one had blots of vomiting Explanation:
