- Angiosperms are vascular plants with stems, roots, and leaves.
- Roots may be normal with tap roots or adventitious.
- Stems may be branched or unbranched.
- The pollen grains and ovules are developed in specialised structures called Flowers.
- Angiosperms are divided into two classes - Dicotyledons and monocotyledons.
- Dicots are characterized by having two cotyledons while monocots have a single cotyledon in their seeds.
- Male sex organ in a flower is Stamen and female sex organ is the Pistil.
- Each stamen consist of an anther, connective and a filament.
- Anther after meiosis produces pollen grains.
