There are many different reasons as to why we need to keep our surroundings clean. Firstly, a clean school is a healthy school. Hygiene is one of the basic requirements to maintain a good health and prevent any illness. Secondly, a dirty or badly maintained place is devoid of any aesthetic value. It promotes a bad impression in front of the people and also brings down the reputation of the school. Thirdly, it is expected from us to keep the premises of the school clean because we are the people who remain in the same premises. Also, it is our duty as students to keep the premises clean.

Classrooms:

To begin with the task of how to keep our school clean, we have to begin with the classrooms. We must not litter trash anywhere and everywhere in the classroom. Students must ensure that they don’t throw the leftovers from their lunch box here and there in the classroom but in the dustbins. Dustbins must be placed in each classroom.

Students must also take care of the fact that the desks and chairs in the classroom are properly arranged, cleaned and dusted. Each student must take it upon him to at least clean his own desk before sitting on it. The walls, ceiling and the fans in the classroom must be properly dusted and cleaned every day. The same should also be done with the classroom cupboard

PLAYGROUND

The playground is the place where a lot of people visit during the time of the day. It is the place where the students play. Thus, the playground should be kept clean. Students should not litter rubbish on the ground but in the garbage bins. The grass of the playground must be regularly trimmed so as to prevent any fungal growth. The playground should be watered every day in the morning so that the grass remains fresh throughout the day.

Cafeteria:

Keeping the cafeteria clean is one of the utmost priorities. Hygiene and cleanliness is very essential in a cafeteria as it is the place where the students eat. Students in the cafeteria must not leave their trays and plates on the table after eating. They must dispose the same in the proper disposal place. Also, the workers serving food in the cafeteria must wear gloves while serving and should not cook food in unhygienic conditions. This will ensure that proper health is maintained.

Conclusion:

Thus, keeping the school premises clean must be the priority of every student. It is their duty and responsibility to maintain the institution which is granting them education. Every teacher should ensure that the students keep the premises of the school clean.
As high school students, we spend at least seven hours in school every school day. We all desire clean classrooms, tidy playgrounds, bright gyms, unpolluted hallways, and hygienic restrooms. However, recently, due to surging government budget cuts, we are seeing an increasing deduction in janitorial services at public high schools around the nation.

What do you do if your bedroom at home gets messy? You clean it. What if the place that gets messy is not your bedroom but a place you spend just as much time? Would you rather see the place get messier and suffer from the consequences instead of cleaning it? A rational and reasonable person would take action to clean the place. Thus, the solution to the problem of rising neglect in keeping our schools clean is straightforward: have students clean their own schools. If every high school student is required to clean their own school for about fifteen minutes every school day, we'll see a cleaner and healthier school environment.

My school strikes the perfect balance between modern education and vintage architecture. The vintage buildings of my school never fail to mesmerize me with their glorious beauty.

However, their vintage architecture does not mean it is out-dated, as it is well-equipped with all the contemporary gadgets. I see my school as a lighthouse of education bestowing knowledge as well as ethical conduct upon us. In contrast to other schools, my school does not solely focus on academic performance. In other words, it emphasizes on the overall development of their students.

Along with our academics, extra-curricular activities are also organized at our school. This one of the main reasons why I love my school as it does not measure everyone on the same scale. Our hardworking staff gives time to each child to grow at their own pace which instills confidence in them. My school has all the facilities of a library, computer room, playground, basketball court and more, to ensure we have it all at our disposal.
