Diwali is the most important festival of India, which is known as 'Dipavali' or 'the festival of lights'. This festival is celebrated in late October or early November. This is a festival of good over evil; it is celebrated in return of God Rama to Ayodhya after fourteen years and winning against evil Ravana. Children are very happy at Diwali. They let off crackers and fireworks. On the day of Diwali, people wear new clothes. They buy/make all the special and different types of sweets. In the evening, people light diyas and candles in rows and make rangolis. People exchange gifts with their family and friends with joy. In this day, people even worship Goddess Kaali and Lakshmi, and pray for health and wealth for their family.
