Nowadays lots of people consider that our mentality and behavior depend on the nationality. On the contrary, many others are sure that personal qualities are more important than national belonging. Who is right? So, let us examine some of the reasons for such different opinions.
In my opinion, the way of thinking depends on individual people’s characteristics which are appeared during life. Firstly, due to living in modern and free society everyone have many opportunities for choosing personal way of thinking and behavior, regardless of religious, ethnic and other beliefs. Secondly, we live in multicultural country, so almost everyone has not got the exact national belonging.
However, some people do not share my opinion convincing that people’s nationality influences on their way of thinking, because features of a particular nationality always hand down from generation to generation. Furthermore, mentality depends on ethnic and local particularities and culture.
But personally, I do not agree with it, because in age of developed international relations people do not pay attention on nationality of each other. Moreover, people have a lot of chances for education and development their own characteristics.
To conclude I would like to point out that despite the fact some people believe that nationality determines the way we think, there are many others who do not support this point of view confirming that only personal qualities influence on the way of thinking. It is a controversial question, I wish that everyone should make a good choice according to common sense
