Sampling is a process which is employed in statistical analysis.
In sampling process, predetermined number of samples are taken from a large population. The methodology used in taking samples is decided by the particular analysis used.
That methodology may be random sampling or systematic sampling. The population from which samples are taken may or may not be the same for which information is required.
