S O L U T I O N :

(I) a = 10, d = 10.

Let,

  • The arithmetic progression series be t1, t2, t3, t4,...

\implies t1 = a = 10

\implies t2 = t1+d = 10+10 = 20

\implies t3 = t2+d = 20+10 = 30

\implies t4 = t3+d = 30+10 = 40

Therefore,

The A.P. series will be 10, 20, 30, 40,...

(II) a = -2, d = 0.

Let,

  • The arithmetic progression series be t1, t2, t3, t4,...

\implies t1 = a = -2

\implies t2 = t1+d = -2+0 = -2

\implies t3 = t2+d = -2 + 0 = -2

\implies t4 = t3+d = -2 + 0 = -2

Therefore,

The A.P. series will be -2 , -2, -2 , -2 ,...
