Sir Isaac Newton first presented his three laws of motion in the "Principia Mathematica Philosophiae Naturalis" in 1686. His first law states that every object will remain at rest or in uniform motion in a straight line unless compelled to change its state by the action of an external force.

First law of Motion was given by great Scientist Sir Issac Newton. This law says that when a body is in rest or uniform motion will continue its state of rest or uniform motion unless and untill an external unbalanced force act on it.
However, We describe the whole law in to Sub-laws:-
=> When a body is in rest will continue its state of rest unless and untill an external unbalanced force acts on it. It means that if body is in rest position then it will never changes its state of rest with respect to reference point and time.
=> When a body is in uniform motion will continue its state of uniform motion unless and untill an external unbalanced force act on it. It means that if is body is moving then it will be moving forever unless an external unbalanced force acts on it to change is uniform motion. However, this part of law seems to be wrong because on the surface of Earth if it is in uniform motion then it will come in rest after sometime by the action of Frictional Force.
