Chemical formula of Hydrated ferrous sulfate is ( FeSO4. 7H2O ) and it's color is light green.
On heating the hydrated ferrous sulfate crystals lose the water of crystallisation ( 7H2O) and becomes white, on adding water again it becomes green.
FeSO4. 7H2O --------› FeSO4 + 7H2O
FeSO4 + 7H2O -------–› FeSO4. 7H2O
I Hope this will help you.
