Given :  xi+yj,

To Find : Magnitude

Solution:

The magnitude of a vector is the length of the vector. The magnitude of the vector x i  + y j    is denoted as | x i  + y j  |

x i  + y j

Magnitude is  √(x² + y²)

| x i  + y j | =  √(x² + y²)

the magnitude of a 3d vector xi + yj + zk = √(x2+y2+z2)

magnitude of x i  + y j  is   √(x² + y²)
