There are 4 major types of pressure belts all around the globe.
1.equatorial low pressure belt(5°N to 5°S)
2.Tropical High Pressure Belt(30°N to 35°N and 30°S to 35°S)
3.Sub-Polar Low Pressure Belt(60°-65° N and S)
4.Polar High Pressure Belt(90°N to 90°S)
Planetary Winds include three types of wind system.
1.Trade winds which blow between Tropical HP belt and equatorial LP belt in north east direction in northern hemisphere and south-east direction in southern hemisphere.They are constant in strength and direction
2. Westerlies blow between Tropical HP belt and sub Polar LP belt in south-west direction in northern hemisphere and in north west direction in southern hemisphere.They 're variable in strength and direction.
3. Polar winds blow between Polar HP belt and Sub polar LP belt in north east direction in northern hemisphere and in south east direction in southern hemisphere.They are weak and variable winds in direction and speed.
