  • Induces sweating.
  • Raises the arrector pilli (goose bumps)
  • Decreases salivation, gastric juice secretion, bile production, release of sucus antricus, pancreatic juice releasation.
  • Constriction of peripheral blood vessels but Dialation of blood vessels of internal organs.
  • Releases urinary bladder.
  • Sympathetic nervous system gets activated in emergencies/stress condition and it prepares body to fight, flight and fright.
