• Helps in the longitudinal growth of the plant.

2. Cytokinin :

• They are responsible for Cell division in plants giving rise to new cells.
• They help in cell elongation.
• Helps in the growth of new leaves and flower formation in plants.

3. Gibberellins :

• They help in the lateral growth of plant like Growth of stem.
• Gibberellins help in development of fruit in a faster rate.
• They overcome seed dormancy if present in higher quantities.

4. Abscisic Acid :

• Known as Stress hormone of Plant.
• Promotes Seed dormancy helping plant survive harsh conditions.
• Inhibits growth in growing plants.

5. Ethylene :

• Helps in the faster ripening of fruits.
• Helps in cell division in a higher and faster rate.

These are the main phyto-hormones or plant hormones secreted by the plant.
