The nucleus is a Central Organelle in the eukaryotic cells. It contains the Genetic material which regulates the metabolic activity of cell, So it is also called as the Brain of the cell.

Structure of eukaryotic nucleus:

- A double membranous nuclear envelope.

- Nuclear pore's that allow entry and exit of material. It has a septum.

- The jelly like fluid is called Nucleoplasm or Karyolymph.

- Present the thread like chromatin network.

- Dence chromatin is called Heterochromatin and Light chromatin is called Euchromatin.
