River Ganga

Yamuna.

River Ganga is the river formed by the melting of Gangotri Glacier. At first it is called as Bhagirathi. In Devprayag when Bhagirathi and and Alaknanda river meet there to form river Ganga.

River Yamuna is formed by melting of Yamunotri glacier. It joins river Ganga at Allahabad.
