The attitude of Dr.sadao towards American soldiers is that sadao rose above narrow prejudices of race and country and treated the wounded American soldiers. Basic human goodness overpower him and he treates the American soldiers. Being a doctor,it was his duty to save a dying man even though he belonged to the enemy's camp.
