Hello friend
---------------
As we all know that there are two Methods of writing sets.
a) Listing Method or roster Method
In this method we write all the elements of a set in curly brackets.
b.) Rule method or set builder form
In this method we do not write the list of elements but we write the general elements using variable followed by a vertical line or colon and write the property of the variable.
So, let's take your example.
-3,-2,-10,1,2,3 so this is a Listing Method
which we write as
I = { -3,-2,-10,1,2,3 }
hence,
=) In set builder form
=) I = { x|x is a set of integers and less -4 to 4 }
I hope this will helps you.
Thanks.
