Nowadays even the people who have power(police or higher officials) to punish the wrong person, becomes a wrong person for money&promotion.
There was case in Tamilnadu 1 or 2 months b4, idk whether u r familiar with this. it happened during lock down time. a shopkeeper and his son kept open their mobile store during lock down. here in tamilnadu lock down timings starts only aftr 3 pm. he was there inside his shop and it was around 2.30 -2.40pm. but the police who came for rounds asked the shopkeeper n his son to close the shop. bt as the lock down time had not started, they refused to close it. so the police arrested the shopkeeper and went to station. He was tortured and beaten up by the police, the son who came to know abt tis went there to ask the police. bt police arrested him too and did the same. the both were then admitted in hospital bt by the time they both were dead. This is about my locality and it happens in every locality bt not frequently. The police who are very interested to help chose police as their career bt later becomes a beast. you can clearly understand this if you've seen the hindi movi 'class of 82'.
