Answer:

Earth's interior is generally divided into three major layers: the crust, the mantle, and the core. ... The outer core is molten and liquid iron and nickel, while the inner core is solid and much more dense than either iron or nickel at the surface.

Answer:

Crust

-its chemical name is sial

-oceanic crust is thinneri.e. if 5km

- continental crust vary from 30 to 70 km

But 7o km only in high mountain ranges for ex himalyas

- It is brittle in nature

-It is the outermost part of the earth

-The type of rock found in the oceanic crust is basalt

- mean density of oceanic crust is 2.7g cm cube

THE MANTLE

IT is beyond the crust .

It has depth of 2900 km

Upper portion is called asthenosphere i.e. weak and lower mantle is called mesosphere which is of solid state .

Has density of 3.4 gm cm cube.

asthenosphere is main source of magma .

asthenosphere is upto 400 km .

THE CORE

The core mantle boundary is located at the depth of 2900km

Outer core is in liquid state while inner core is in solid state

density at mantle core boundary is 5 gm cm cube

density at the centre of earth is 13 gm cm cube

composed of nickel and iron

this layer is also called nife layer.
