The joule's first law shows the relationship between heat produced by a flowing electric current through a conductor. The amount of generated heat is proportional to wire's electrical resistance when the current in the circuit and the flow of current is not changed.

hey mate..

The effect of electric current due to which heat is produced in a wire when current is passed through it is called heating effect of electric current or joule heating.

in accordance with joules law of heating if a current I flows through a resistor of resistance R for a time T then the heat produced across the resistor is

h =  {i}^{2} rt

Hope it helped

shrutimohta0220: i got 8/11 A
surya2162: how?
shrutimohta0220: first find the resistance of the two bulbs with the formula P=V^2/R
shrutimohta0220: then find equivalent resistance
shrutimohta0220: of parallel circuit
shrutimohta0220: then with the formula V=IR find the current
