The term which exists in left side of equal sign is known as L.H.S and full form of L.H.S is left hand side. similarly, the term which exists in right side of equal sign is known as R.H.S and full form of it is right hand side.

here given, 2x + 3 = 7

L.H.S of the given simple equation = 2x + 3

R.H.S of the given simple equation = 7
