Hi ,

To expand given problem we use the following logarthmic laws:
*********************************************************************************
1 ) log ( m/n ) = log m - log n

2 ) log ( mn ) = log m + log n

3 ) log x ^ n = n × log x

************************************************************************************
Now ,

log ( 4 a^2 / c^4 )

= log ( 4a^2 ) - log ( c^4 )

= log ( 2a )^2 - log ( c ^4 )

= 2 log ( 2a ) - 4 log c

= 2 ( log 2 + log a ) - 4 log c

= 2 log 2 + 2 log a - 4 log c

I hope this will usful to you.
