complex number = a + i b
a = -1. b =
 -  \sqrt{3}

modulus =
 \sqrt{ {a}^{2} +  {b}^{2}  }  =  \sqrt{( - 1)^{2} +  {( -  \sqrt{3} )}^{2}  }  = 2
Argument =
 {tan}^{ - 1}  \frac{b}{a}  =  {tan}^{ - 1}  \frac{ -  \sqrt{3} }{ - 1}  =  \frac{\pi}{3}
