Write name of alkane containg carbon 2,3,4 respectively
Answers
Normal alkane products are very simple products, usually containing three to five consecutive normal alkanes. These products have had substantial refining so that there are virtually no aromatic, cyclic, or branched compounds present. The resulting product is a simple, clean-burning product with a fairly narrow boiling point range. Although there are products with broader ranges that can be categorized as n-alkane products, such as some paraffins, the majority of the ignitable liquids that comprise this classification scheme span from three to five n-alkanes. Because these products burn with little smoke or odor, they are commonly used as fuels for liquid candles, often with the addition of a dye and or fragrance. Normal alkane products are also used as solvents for inks in some no carbon required (NCR) papers that are commonly seen as multi-page forms. This category also includes single normal alkane solvents, such as n-pentane, n-hexane, and n-heptane, although these types of solvents are seen much less frequently in common commercially available solvents or products.
