1.LASHKAR-E-OMAR- This group was founded in January 2002 and is named after Mullah Mohammed Omar, chief of Taliban.  

2.HIZB-UL-MUJAHIDEEN - This terrorist group is for perpetrating violence across the state at regular intervals. Master Ahsan Dar is its chief.

3.HARKAT-UL-ANSAR- The group was led by Maulana Saadatullah Khan.  

4.LASHKAR-E-TAIBA- It is headed by Hafiz Muhammad Saeed.

5.JAISH-E-MOHAMMAD MUJAHIDEEN-E-TANZEEM- It has been held responsible for the terrorist attack on Parliament in New Delhi. It is headed by Maulana Masood Azhar.
