Vestigial organs are those organs in a human body which do not have much significance due to the easy adaption of the human body. In human body they just exist.


(1) Body Hair: The body hair in human body react to external environment which results in “goosebumps”. These hair are not of much importance to humans but the same body hair of cats are very important. Cats use their body hairs to make themselves look bigger and scare away their predators.


(2) Third Eye-lid: This extra eye-lid in human eye is of practically no use. However, it exists in animals like dogs, fishes etc and is useful to them for vision
