Aryasatyas are the four noble truths in order to attain liberation and these are proclaimed by Gautama Buddha. The four Aryasatyas are life is full of sorrow, sorrow is caused by the desire of materialistic things and cease of desire is the way for liberation of the soul.
Many contemporary rulers followed Buddhism and they also intended to spread it.
Five percepts of Buddhism are named to be Panchasheel. These are the five codes of conducts which are considered to be significantly followed for an ethical way of life. Slaying living beings, burglary, sexual transgression, being deceitful and alcoholism are the five codes which must never be followed according to Buddhism.
