Root pressure

1. Roots of plants are in contact with Water and minerals present in soil.

2. As a result water and minerals get into the root cells due to which they become turgid and apply pressure on its adjusant cell.

3.These pressure is called is 'root pressure'.

4. Root pressure take water to the xylem from where it get transported to all parts of plants.

*Root pressure is a very important process in plants growth, which hydrates the plant and provides minerals for the nourishment of plants.
