acute disease is easily curable and don't take more days whereas chronic is not cured easily and takes a long time to cure it.

Acute conditions are severe and sudden in onset .this could describe anything broken bone to an asthma..

Chronic disease is long contrasting disease , it take a long time to develop such as osteoporosis / asthama...
