Once upon a time in the outskirts of a village lived a boy named jack. Jack’s father was a farmer by profession and they were very poor , sometimes they used to even strive hard to get a two square meal.
Jack was a very brilliant child, filled with innovations and very honest by nature. He was too smart for his age.
One day jack was playing hide and seek with his friends in the nearby woods and all of a sudden he got lost in that wood.he tried hard to relocate his friends ,to get back to them but was unable to do so as it was getting dark.So he decided to spend that night in the wood and to start a fresh search the very next morning.
He climbed onto a tree to prevent himself from being some wild animals dinner. The very next morning he left to search for the way back to his home unaware of the fact that the path he has chosen is correct or not.
As he was walking down the woods ,after covering some distance all of a sudden he saw a book lying beneath a tree.that book had a beautiful cover and at the same time it was very attractive too. Initially he was reluctant to pick that book but with all his guts he opened that book. Since he had attended his primary schooling he was able to read that book and on reading that book he discovered that the book belonged to the king of the nearby territory ,that book had all the informations about the treasures belonging to that territory and a map attached to the same.
Though jack was poor but he wasn’t greedy so at once he decided that he’ll return that book to its owner and with the help of that map he left to locate for the kingdom. Surpassing all the hardships on his way he managed to reach that kingdom and on reaching there explained the complete story to the king. On seeing the child’s honesty and that treasure book king was overwhelmed with joy and decided to reward Jack for his honesty.
Jack was rewarded with an amount of 500 gold coins and the kings men escorted jack back to his home. On seeing jack back his family got nostalgic and everyone was proud on jack. After that jack and his family lived happily there after.
moral : never be greedy,be honest because honesty is the best policy
